 There are many ways to grain set stones. The videos in this course cover all the techniques including pre-cutting and shaping beads before seating the stones. You will learn how to bright cut around the setting, and hopefully after some practice you will achieve a mirror finish. Once you have mastered spacing cutting and setting with the JTS blanks and stones you will gain confidence to take on commission jobs. These traditional techniques handed down from master jeweller to apprentice are now available exclusively to JTS students.
