Side Cutters (Heavy Duty)

These stainless steel heavy duty side cutters are ideal for cutting precious metal. The total length of the pliers is 132mm. The cutting jaws are shaped to make claw snipping easier. The pliers are high quality & heavy duty, providing more cutting leverage and closer access to claw wires close to flat surfaces. Edges have a slight bevel. Recommended for cutting claws & soft non-ferrous wire up to 1.8mm in thickness.

These cutters have a box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other half and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size.
